About Kahl Property Inspection Service, Stockton, CA
My construction career started in Jr High school with wood & metal shops through High school.
I was the ships carpenter on the USS Constellation CVA-64. Joined the Carpenters Union after the Navy. Graduated from a 4 year apprenticeship as a journeyman carpenter in 1977. Earned my General Contractors license in 1979. I taught Carpentry Apprenticeship at Delta College for 3 years. I have worked for many companies as a foreman or superintendent building hundreds of homes and several commercial buildings. In 1992 I went to work for a local home inspection company. After training and working this new job, I realized I found my niche. I can use my construction background and my love of teaching and help people. I bought the business in 1993, changed the name to Kahl Property Inspection Service and the rest is history.
I joined CREIA - California Real Estate Inspection Association in 2000 and am one of the founding members of the local Delta Chapter of CREIA. I have been voted The Best of San Joaquin every year since 2012.
I still love what I do. I provide peace of mind, one house at a time!
